Woke up this am.....slight headache form my B-day party that my wife threw last night. Went straight to this thread to make sure that I had not been dreaming.....was I really buying this car

Thanks to those that sent shipping suggestions….I’ll be checking into that today.

My 78 DE car get picked up in an hour, off to its new owner in NY. It has been an amazingly short time from when I decided to sell my car and pick up this one…..a little over 2 weeks and 10 days of that I was in on vacation with the family. It was meant to be.

I still have a Ducati ST3 for sale….anyone? http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3103719095.html

Club Sport,
Dave is one of my favorite people I've ever known, and he has been kind enough to let me drive this car. Without question, one of the best 6GT3's in the country. Loud as can be, but exactly right. You have done extremely well, and you should have no regrets. So sleep well- it'll be in your garage before you know it.

Congrats Craig! You will be hard to keep up with in that beast.
Get hold of me for shipping suggestion. I know the main guy in Denver that does most of the exotic and race trans shipping and can coordinate anywhere in the country pretty quickly. I had great resultls from him when all the main national carriers were telling me 3 weeks...

Yep......flight tomorrow and I'm TOTALLY psyched to pick this car up. Dave has been kind enough to offer to ship the wheels and other parts and pick me up in Atlanta so I’ll be on the road early Tuesday. It is a perfect week to do it since the 4th is on Wednesday. Dave mentioned that PJ spent some coin on a radar/blocking system so I might have to test it out

Sorry chrisc BTW, you are not the first person "willing" to help out, many of my DE buddies in Denver offered the same “deal” .

Well, ownership has officially changed hands on the Beast and all I can say is.....Wholly Mother of God!

The RSR ring and pinion really wakes this thing up and above 5k, I'm not sure if I am driving a car or flying a freaking plane. *The noise is something I can not yet put into words. *After an hour in the car I still have this huge **** eating grin that I cannot wipe off my face.

Lots to learn.....cannot wait to get her to http://www.highplainsraceway.com/

Thanks Dave for making the transaction seemless in a very short period of time!

She's in Denver....1500 or so miles later. This car was definitely not built for a Atlanta to Denver trip but I was amazed at how well it did….as long as I kept her between 3500 – 3800 RPM. Had a few close calls with the Highway Patrol but the Escort help me out of them. I kept her around 10 – 15 over the limit with blasts to speeds that I will not admit to

Unfortunately I am traveling for the next 4 weeks so I will not be able to have much fun with her but it is a good feeling to put my head (ears still ringing) on the pillow and know that she is keeping the old Club Sport company.
