Coolant swap out and oil change, how long should it take?
Any Indy shop that does more old 928 and 944 stuff than GT3s? Debating doing it myself but a little short on time. Headed to VIR for the NARRA event in 2 weeks and need an oil change and to get the coolant out and Water Wetter in.
I am new to the GT3 but have done a fair amount of work over the years on my Audi's...
Thoughts?
Thank You~

A shop should charge you NO MORE than 1 hour of labor for the oil change. If they do, it is stealing from you. $150-200 is my guess what an honest shop should charge (oil+filter+labor). Or, you could do it yourself for approximately $75.
The coolant I have no idea as you need a special tool to pressurize the system and purge any air.

Two years ago Indy shop charged me 1 hour labor plus cost of coolant around $200.00. Two weekends ago I performed a coolant flush myself. Here is what you will need. Air compressor, Air Lift Coolant Purge Tool (around $120), 11 gallons of distilled water, 12oz Water Wetter. You can only drain approximately 2.5 gallons at a time. I performed this process 4 times before I felt confident I diluted the antifreeze confirmed with an antifrezee tester. The process involves draining the system by removing two drain plugs at bottom of motor into two catch pans. Hook up the Air Lift Purge Tool, connect your air hose to create a vacuum in the system. Change the fitting and place the hose in a gallon of distilled water open the valve and it sucks the water into the system. Make sure you keep the level of water high enough so you do not suck in any air. Drive the car around the neighborhood with the heater on high to properly recirculate the coolant. Allow the coolant to cool. Drain and repeat the process. This was done over a few days because it takes a while for the coolant to cool. Had no air lock issues. Worked perfectly and it is a simple process.
