Default Trade your 996 GT3 for my 996 Turbo?

Well the Good Book says "you have not, because you ask not", so here goes. I have a 2003 Arctic Silver TT with the Protomotive K24/18g aka PE650 package with Switzer exhaust and a bunch of other goodies. My car has 25,000 miles with tech equip roll bar and gt3 bucket seats and has been tracked by me and well cared for since 1,200 miles and 2007 when I bought it from the dealer as cpo.

Not sure how many, if any at all folks go from a gt3 to a turbo since it seems like the trend is to go the other direction but I thought I would put it out there. Pm me if interested.

Respectfully,

Tom

Sounds like a nice car. Pics?

I think you'd do better just selling outright and then begin your search for GT3 bliss.

Your avatar pic is sweet. Hopefully you are looking for a red 6gt3 : ). Good luck in your quest. They are great cars. Mike

It's a great turbo - VERY FAST. Tune is stellar. I know the folks that set up and maintain the car and they are top notch. Seller is a great guy as well. And he needs a GT3

Having owned both now, I can say I loved the 996TT, but totally get the "WHY" so many move to the GT3...

That said, my 996TT was much more "street" civil when I had the stock seats in and the street alignment on it. The 6GT3 is just RAW and "NIMBLE"!!! Oh, and I don't miss the boost or added power...

7turbo and we'd talk.

But I'd say sell it and start the search then you can get what you want.

With that said, if you have to choose between boost and 8K+ RPM, it's simple. Ask me if I miss my Turbo now that I am back in GT3......

HELL NAH!

What's going on brother man? When I saw that avatar, I had a feeling it might be you! Thanks for the kind words, been using your throttle steer tip quite a bit at Harris Hill Road. I learned alot that time with you.

Car is going to Akram end of June for a minor clutch tune up. I am doing the Porsche Sport Driving School in October for the first time and they bumped me up to the Masters Level 1 after I presented them with my resume. I won't be doing any more DE's for the rest of this year that I know of due to this trip.
