MY2000 996 GT3/1 - provision for electric seats

Hi Everyone,
My GT3/1 has the shell sports-seats (Pole-Position?) installed as OE. The car is used almost exclusively on the street, and I am growing older (= less agile!).
So, I am looking at (temporarily) fitting a pair of OE Porsche 996 seats (probably a set out of a 996 Turbo). As almost all other 996 seats have some form of electrical operation, can someone tell me if the 996 GT3s of that era were delivered with the wiring provision for electric seats pre-installed?
Regards,
Keith

My 2000 CS has spare elecical connectors under the seats - no idea what they could be for, except for electrical seats.
I suggest you put your hand under the seat and see what you can scratch out.

Hi v12man,
Thanks for the input. Yes, there is some wiring under the seat; a (red) Earth cable, and a grey multi-connector attached by a clip to the seat-bottom. I cannot imagine what this could be for if not for seat-power, though will have to work out if all the various OEM seats use a similar connector.
Will give it a try in the shop tomorrow.

Keith
