Default Replacement 996 gt3...

Long story short, my 6 month old 996 gt3 has likely been totaled ( not by me).

I am awaiting to hear from insurance but does anyone have any lines on nice 996 gt3/2s for sale?

Also, taking into the account the rarity and unique pricing of these cars, how would you suggest proving the actual replacement value of these cars so I am given a fair price from insurance?

TIA

Pull up cars.com or autotrader.com. Both have plenty of overpriced examples to cross reference and ensure you settle well.

That is my greatest fear. I my car ever disappeared and had to be replaced/valued by insurance company, there is no way the $$ could come close to the replacement cost of my very modified example.

Good luck.

You can ask that the insurance company insure the car for a specific value.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

The blue car looks expensive - I would think it is worth something in the mid 50s - For that kind of money I would rather look at this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/404-2...t_23082wt_1167

the price of the 996 GT3 has been trending up from what I hear.
I would expect to pay over 60K now 65 seems to be about the going rate.
you can buy mine for 70...
