Help - Fibre Optic Output On CDR23 to Connect Denison Lite
After reading all sorts of threads, especially in this section of the forum, on how to get my Ipod connected to my CDR23 on my 2005 996.2 GT3 I opted for the Denison Lite which plugs into the cars fibre optic system.
I then read loads of threads on how to install the Denison Lite / 500 but I have come up against a problem I can't solve and I need your help please.
My car doesn't have the multi CD changer or the amp which is where most of these systems plug into the Fibre Optic connection. I have stripped the front trunk to pieces and there is no Fibre Optic connections in there. I then removed the head unit and there is also no Fibre Optic cables connected to the back of the CDR23 head unit itself so there appears to be no fibre optics on my car to plug the Denison unit into :? :? :? There is just a plastic blanking plug in the Fibre Optic connector on the back of the head unit. I've tried searching to see if you can get a Fibre Optic cable to plug into the back of the CDR23 but can't find anything.
It's now driving me crazy so if anyone else has come across this some helpful advice would be gratefully appreciated.

I can see the FO in/out socket but there are no lines coming out of it, just a blanking plug. I have since worked out the Dension comes with the same type of connector so wondering if it's a standard FO connector so away to go and look at some electrical shops to see what I can find.

As a quick bit of background, I tied into the FO loop at the amp in the front trunk in the 6Turbo. In the 7GT3, I tied into the FO loop behind the head unit. If I remember correctly, somebody posted this very question in the past year asking about this stating they couldn't find the FO loop. Hopefully somebody chimes in or you can find what you need through the search function.

I have found out that the type of connector that I need to plug into the FO port on the head unit is a Tyco Electronics MOST 1355426 Patch Car Cable Connector but I can't find anywhere that sells them. I'll try giving Dension themselves a call and post back

I'm in the UK but most of the helpful tips I found for installing it were from this site so I thought best to ask you guys
I have contacted the place I bought the unit from and they are going to send me another plug. When it arrives I'll post up a few pics of how to wire it all together if you don't have the FO loop already installed in your car.

Yeah man, but its huge, and all the way in the back. Volume control is the pedal on the right. It doesn't compare though to the Sunroof and Expresso machine Dell has in his 7.3.1. However, I think the expresso machine feeds directly into the gas tank!
