Default Cup Car Steering Wheel Installation Help?

Hey guys, I just have a quick question about installing the cup car wheel and hub. When I slide the momo hub onto the spline and tighten the nut, I run out of thread, yet there is still about 1/4" gap between the nut and the hub, meaning there is some play. Did you guys use a spacer behind the spline nut?

Here is the kit that I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/390368328885...84.m1497.l2649

I was told that it would include everything needed to install it in my 996, but I guess that's not the case....... Knowing myself I've probably left something out lol. Any help would be appreciated.....

Looks like your hub adapter is the issue. Just put a spacer in there. I didnt have to put a spacer in mine- plenty of thread. Mike

Thanks for the input! I guess I will go ahead and go with the spacer route rather than sending it back..... Damn, it seems like every time I do something with my car some issue pops up. I guess this is a sign that I need to stop tinkering with it lol.

Can I ask what happened when you asked the eBay seller about that issue?

U can buy the spacer. Maybe ask the seller bout it. Some hub adapters require spacer- no big deal. Mike

The seller said they never had anyone complain about the same issue before.......

Anyways, it wasn't too big of a deal. One trip to Home Depot and 3 washers later the wheel fits fine!

Yes, had a bit of problem with the horn but with the help of rennlist I got it sorted. It's the 'L' shaped brass connector not making contact with the brass ring on the under side of the boss. You have to force bend it slightly to ensure contact.
