Default Pics of 996 C2 or GT3 with RS or Cup type rear wings

Would like to see photos of what people have done with RS or Cup type rear wings on a dual purpose street/track 996. Also looking for some info about which wings produce what drag & "-lift" #s.

Also looking to buy a 996 RS type wing & tail base.

That's a Manthey RS wing, car is actually white wrapped now (used to be black) and owner posts here.

Info here http://www.porschetuningparts.com/po...rear-wing.html

Made from carbon fiber this wing is lighter and stiffer than the original RS wing, developed in the wind tunnel by Manthey Motors for increased down force 30Kg to 62Kg, this is 5Kg more than the original equipment RS wing

Here's a few (massive) pics of a 996 cup wing/decklid that I installed on my 6GT3 last year. I don't have any info about lift/drag, but I can say that I have it set fairly neutral and I'm faster at the end of the back straight at Mosport and just before the bus stop at the Glen versus the RS wing that I replaced by a few kms/hr. That would suggest less drag versus the RS wing but not exactly a scientific analysis.

White one is mine (bought with the wing from Seth Thomas). It did come with three different spacers for increasing angle of attack.

Silver one is a well sorted GT3 that I see often at the track. I have met the owner but I'm terrible with names. It's probably known here.

J/K on the 914, although that is one impressive wing. It's just an amusing pic I took at Porschefest HPDE last year. My caption: 'it's THIS big!'

RS wing with 8 degree shims. Worked well on first outing of season. Next event Watkins Glen expecting drag.
