umm, make sure the part number finish with 91... this is the .2 gt3 shifter
Thanks. Unfortunately I bought and installed the shifter from suncoast last year! Is there any way of telling without completely removing it? If I recall correctly, the part number is on the bottom unfortunately.
Edit: Looking at some pics I took during install, there is a sticker on the top-front-left with a part number. I can barely make it out, is this right: 997 424 010 91 A 500

It's ok. It feels different, definitely requires more effort to engage, but it didn't solve the issue I was after. I think it may be the **** that gives it the "flimsy plastic" feel. I have the RS ****, dunno if that's any different to non-RS.
