Yep we think the motor went.

He lost a pulley on Friday and we sorted that out and possibly one of the bearings in the rotor could of cooked a bit because of the overheating and thin spun but clearly something horrific happened because that was one humungous James Bond type cloud down the front straight.

I nice guy following him came over to my rig on Sunday and said it would of been smarter for him to pull right rather then cross the track because they couldn't see a damn thing and almost hit him. SO if you ever pull the smoke screen move remember to stay on your line and move to the nearest side of the track.

Great save Dell, especially when viewed from Scott's car.

A buddy of mine took some pretty awesome shots this past weekend, here's the link to his album.

Nice pics Adam. I detect a theme of a certain white GT3 in many of the shots

I finally got to convert some video. Here's a few laps in the red run group. I'm in a 996 GT3 with those non-remote resevoir JRZ shocks. I have some older hoosiers on the car. but, it was hooking up pretty good. You can see here how the 7.2 GT3s just walk away from me! I'd love some pointers from the resident VIR experts.

KJ, I absolutely enjoyed your video. Your ability to hustle that thing and make it look effortless is impressive.

Can I ask the full specs of your car? I see an RS wing in the mirror and realize you already stated JRZ RS's and Hoosiers. Curious if there is anything else done

Thanks! It's a fun car to drive. TPC does my set-up and the car is so forgiving to drive. I have their adjustable toe-links on the suspension as well as the aforementioned JRZs. The wing is a replica RS wing that a buddy sold me for cheap. I have no clue where it came from. I also have euro GT3 seats and 997 shift linkage. I love this car!

KJ....what camera are you using? Your video looked like it was playing at an odd frame rate. NIce driving though. Very smooth which is key

Dell,

I'm using the Contour HD (which I love due to the simplicity) but the video was scrubbed with some random tool before I uploaded it to Vimeo. The frame rate was affected during post processing.

Now... where are those 2-3 seconds I'm loosing in my chase of a 2:06?
