Default Need help removing this part

I believe once I remove this last item I will be able to gain access to the last two coolant hoses that are connected to the oil filter bracket (not part of the 997 GT3). I have already pinned 6 of the 8 coolant hoses without much problems without dropping the motor. I am hoping someone who has dropped the motor can provide some insight. The workshop manual makes the removal of this piece seem easy but the access to the bolt is blocked and I cannot figure how to remove it. Sorry for the bad picture. But I need to remove the right side cooling manifold that is held in place by two bolts. The bolt that is on the left side is blocked by the black steel pipe that connects to one of the last two fittings. Steve W in the 997 GT3 forum has a great writeup titled DIY Coolant Fitting Fix with Motor In the Car. Once I get past this point I will have more details to add for the 996 GT3. Any help would be appreciated. I cannot take more pictures until this weekend since my car is in storage.

Steve

Sorry I can't help you Steve, but I would also like to know the answer.
