Little more info....sooo you need to recover threaded fitting from origional line, this is one way of doing it...
PIC1.Take original line and insert a 8mm long socket to release spring clip "basket"
PIC2.Push in on socket and pull on exterior of threaded fitting and remove
PIC3.All of the components. NOTE the clip stays in the housing and has to be removed, image shows on the socket just to give an idea of how it works.
4. Replace threaded fitting on new Voss fitting, insert "basket" spring clip and secure with a 9mm socket by pushing down on clip lightly. Pull on threaded component slightly to ensure it is secure.
I have found this old but interesting thread. Can you maybe help me with my question / problem? The clutch pipeline connector (with 15mm wrench ends both sides) between the rubber line to the slave cylinder and the hard line to the master cylinder seems to be leaking a very little. I have dismantled the connection and there is no O-ring inside. There is a similar connector in the power steering line, which definitely does have an O-ring. Is it correct that there is no O-ring in the cluch pipeline connector? Thanks!
Compared pictures of the power steering line connector with my clutch hydraulics line connector. These two connectors are very similar, but NOT the same.
The clutch hydraulic line connector (shown above) of my car (MY 2000 GT3 MK1) does not have an O-ring inside. Just in case this is of interest for anyone who is replacing it.
