Default Another Clutch / flywheel thread

If I DIY the engine pull to weld my coolant fittings I"m thinking I might ast well throw that money saved at fun parts.

Question is this, The clutch, pressure plate, heck the whole transmission in my car has only around 6500 miles on it. Can I re-use my existing clutch and pressure plate with the RS flywheel?

What's the latest verdict on the 996 RS flywheel vs. the 996 cup unit which was later used in the 3.8 & 4.0 RS. Any reason to go with one over the other. Go light or go home?

You can reuse the PP.

Go for the lighter flywheel.

After the 3.8RS PP / clutch fiasco, I am not recommending the newer 4L RS parts. I 'll first wait for a year. : )
