Using Ebay's Autocheck the only hiccup I see is it was repossessed. But you're right, it's curiously cheap.

Judging by the seller name, location, and background in the pics, it is for sale from Classic BMW. The seller is a client advisor for them. However, it's not in Classic BMW's website, at least not yet. I can ask some guys there for the scoop on it.

According to a friend at Champion Porsche, that car is clean, and the seller is in BIG financial trouble hence the quick sell off.... Makes sense, if, it all checks out this is just a steal! Tempted to have a 2nd

I do not think that this is a Ruf conversion. I believe this car was modified by Ruf Dallas (now RAC Performance) using GMG parts. Look at the picture of the engine bay.

I do like the license plate.

Agreed.... I have a RUF R-GT2, and found it odd that the usual RUF package components weren't used, in which usually are during conversions....
