Pushing the clutch in, engaging a high gear and letting the clutch out is a simple clutch test. If engine stalls, clutch is good... My car had a new clutch installed by PO at 40K just before we bought it. It was never tracked. I also heard of some Cayman and Boxters having clutch issues while at the track. Problem was resolve by bleeding.

I did mine the last time I did my brake fluid. You need a 1/4" dia, long Tygon tube and a 6 or 7mm wrench. Remove rear wheel and jack driver side. I used a pressure bleeder. Have someone press the clutch and open nipple to bleed. Pedal will remain on floor. Bring up by hand and repeat a couple of time... Bleeder is accessible with no problem.

I do not know if there is an official clutch test for GT3s... Their trannys are sweet compared to the old 915s... If you ever driven one of those, you know what I mean.
