Default WTB - 996 GT3

Interested in leads for a 996 GT3. Primary use will be DE's so will value some performance mods but not looking for a stripped race car ... want a car that is clear title and street legal for getting to/from the DE's.

Location in Eastern Canada or Northeast US would be convenient but not critical.

Will consider outright purchase or trade for my 2005 997.1 C2S Cab (in avatar) + $ for anyone finding the GT3 just a little too raw for daily driver duties.

Budgeting between 50 and 60K depending on condition / modifications.

Please PM with any leads.

If you can Dave try and drive one. I was hooked after driving Paul's.

You can drive mine if you can see over the dash and reach the pedals. Seat is bolted low to the floor and all the way back.

LOL - maybe with a phone book strapped on my butt and some 70's platform shoes ... What seats do you have anyway ?

I'm very sure that this is the direction I'm going ... one thing I would like to do is confirm that the Euro GT3 seats that some of these cars have installed already will fit me OK. 5'10" - 200 lbs - 36-38" waist gives an idea.

I'm going up to CMP Sat. I have the OMP Big seats. They have a taller back than the GT3 seats so the holes for the shoulder straps align better with my back. The pains of being tall.

Bruce and Paul both have GT3 seats. You should fit in them fine.

Excellent direction.

You'll be fine in the seats, they are quite comfy.

I'm about to put on the market my '04 Guards Red/Blk Sport Seats. Options include PCCB, Painted rear center console in GR. Deviated Stitching in GR. Cruise Control, GT3 Logo on engine cover painted in GR. Factory Cover & Battery Maintainer. Recent Upgrades include New Rear PS/2's, and Fuel Pump. I ordered the car and to date have 15K, adult driven miles. Never Tracked, or AutoX. Very fine condition, health issues force sale. Clear title (State Of Ohio). Original MSRP was $113K+. $65K Firm.

Heck, all I got was a ride in Paul and Bruce's, and I was hooked on a GT3!!

You are also welcome to drive mine any time for comparison. It suffers the same seating issue as Chris'.

Chris / Peter - thanks for the offers - won't be driving at CMP on Sat (plan to be recovering from Beau's Oktoberfest I'm going to on Friday ...) but may be there Sun and/or may try to swing by later on Sat just to say "hi".

@AllanJ, @FFaust - thanks for the confirmation on the GT3 seats. Helps a lot.

@Bill911 - PM sent - any info appreciated

@Rotgtdrei - thanks for the post - email sent

Please keep the leads coming - this is great !
