Default GT3 Windshield

I ended up with a crack across my windshield and I called a local glass shop for replacement. They did not list a specific windshield for the GT3. The closest match was a Carrera windshield with antenna and sunscreen.

My searches provide that they are the same.

Thanks

Two windscreens available, both fit all 996 +02 cars. One has the green top tint.

If you don't care about the built in radio reception, go with the cup windshield for several hundred cheaper.

Yup. There are some (but not that many) that are cheaper.

I am going to insist on the part number 996 541 901 04.
Safelight tells me they have an aftermarket windscreen.
My experience with the 993 is that the Safelight part was harder than the OEM piece.
The german glass seems to pit so easily but it is OEM.

Safelight bought my windshield from the local Porsche dealer.

tearoffguys.com is my next try. I tried clear bra the first year and 30 track days, it worked fine but I am not sure what they used. Now I use tear off like stuff and stains and wears too quickly.
