Not true; I ordered 245s last week; had them in a couple days. (link)

Hi all ,

I'm a new 6GT3 owner (will introduce myself later on) and looking for some new 18 track wheels .

Would the OZ Alleggerita HLT in 9X19(245/40 ) and offset 43 and rear 11X18 (295/30) offset 63 be a good combination and will the fit the car ?

Thanks

Thanks for everyones replies. Due to my AWD and the tire diameter limitation, I guess I'm going to go with the 235/40 and 315/30 combo using a 18x9 front wheel. I currently run 19s on the street with a 235/35/19 on a 19x8.5 with no fitment or rubbing problems at GT2 ride height. I assume that if I get the identical offset wheel in a 18x9 as I have on my 19x8.5 then everything should fit fine since the centerline of the tire will remain unchanged. The only change will be the fact that the tire will be slightly more stretched at the bead on both sides but that should not impact anything as the tread width obviously does not change.

As far as my rears go, I plan to go with a 315/30/ 18 tire. I seems that everyone recommends a 12" rear. I plan to use the Nitto NT01 but Nitto lists the max wheel width as a 11.5 with 11 optimum. Any reason to go with a 12 or would 11.5 be better? A 315 is as wide as I will ever go. My current set up is a 19x11 with a 315/25/19 PS2 on a wide body Rturbo. Thx.

I have 12" rears on a GT3... 11.5" would have been plenty wide, especially for a narrow body car.

What does it take to run 265mm wide on the front of a '00 996 narrow body with 18" diameter wheels? I've read on the internet that an 18x9 with a 51mm offset and the fenders rolled can run a 265mm tire - true?

Yes, with enough camber.... It will still likely rub the inner fender well at full lock, or close to full lock.

Cheers
