I understand what you are saying. It could be other reasons for the hose to fail. All I'am saying is that my dealer told PCNA what they found with my GT3 for the cause of the feed pump hose to split. I do not know what could have happened; but I do know it is wise to check the pressure of the regulator while your there nonetheless.

I had the same thing happen to me the other week.

I was on my way to Nurburgring when the engine started missing slightly. I suspected a coil or two at first. I stopped in Nurburg for some food and then the car wouldn't drive again.

Fortunately Manthey Racing are 1km away so they turned up with a service van and tried a diagnosis. The only errors showing were lambda error bank 1 and 2.

They fixed the u hose, but its the first one they had come across, so I'm guessing up to now that it has been a US only failure?

Car is a late 2003 GT3 (04) model, 60k miles.
