Hi guys
Appologies if this has come up before, but I just had the Tarret turnbuckle droplinks & Moton hangers fitted to my car ~ 1500 miles ago and I have just had one of the bolts that secure the top of the droplink into the hanger shear off.
Anyone had this or knows of a cause &/or fix?

Just a followup to let people know what the problem was:
You can only fit the droplink to the hanger one way round! The correct side is machined flat & the other side has a slight curve to it. The broken link was accidentally fitted to the curved side which meant that the collar wasn't fully supported & over time, this caused the bolt to shear.
I guess that's what happens when you have a 16 hour day & a deadline

Also do you have the rod ends on the bottom in the rear or the stock rubber bushing type? If rod end, make sure you have a limiter to the twisting the shock does from the rear sway bar loading. We did this YEARS ago now. Used a piece of delrin on one side of the spacer the bolt runs through at the mounting point. One on each shock will keep from twisting and then shearing the bolt. Seen this many times. Would bet this is issue.
