Glen, how are the headers different than a stock GT3?

Glen's ad reads: "These are from a GT3 996 SuperCup and can be used on any GT3 996 Supercup or 996 GT3,"

But John, you are saying you needed to run an 'adapter plate' in order to run these headers? With what cats and mufflers?

IIRC I tried cup headers and street mufflers and needed 7mm adapters to fit them, but it was years ago..
Besides they are the same , I think 48mm.

Glen knows the cup stuff way better.

Looks like headers are already sold - Scott, did you get them?

Can somebody educate me on gearing? I've been thinking of following Dell's footsteps on gearing in my car and shorten my 3, 4, and 5th. Would any of these work??

Not me. Cost was so low, figured I might experiment, but no big deal.

I got them...plus the gutted cats and some gear sets. We'll have a look at them and see what works the best. Gearbox first, then we'll play around with the intake and exhaust...then dyno. Should make for some interesting data...
