Extinguisher mount pics (Safecraft/Prowerks/Amerex)
After considering the many FE mounting solutions, here's what I ended up with.
I bit the bullet and shelled out the bucks for the Safecraft billet QR mount along with perfectly adapted billet ProWerks clamps for the rollbar (also got dinged an additional 95$ by UPS for brokerage and taxes!!)
I sourced the Amerex FE locally, however fitting the Safecraft mount to the Amerex wasn't as straightforward as I thought; The Amerex canister was a 1/8" too big in diameter. It required 3 evenings of filing, grinding and coarse sanding. A pain in the ***, but it got done.
I mounted on the diagonal cross bar somewhere between the seats.
After spending the same amount money that can buy a kitchen appliance on an arguably useless FE setup, I now officially feel like a Space Cadet.

Nothing do burn in your car it's all metal now.
You need a racing fuel cell and an automatic extinguisher and u r set.
It goes like
smoke
pull
get the F out

It's about time Mike got a real avatar... I'm so confused now. Let's take a poll: What's hotter? Stripper 6-3 or hot chick in her undies?
DHI, nothing like a little weekend project costing more time and money than a prefab product! Take pride, my man!!!
I'm sure you've thought it through RE Slow's comment. I stuck mine in front of the passenger seat (I didn't like anything under my legs when driving). If I loosen the shoulder straps just a tad, I can get to it.
But the message is clear... GET THE F OUT FIRST!!!
