Default transponder install

I'm installing a transponder (AMB) this weekend on the 996 GT3.

Anybody have any ideas as where to put it behind the right front wheel well liner? Can it be mounted behind the radiator or does it have to be at the surface just behind the bumper cover?

Any suggestions/experience welcome.

PCA Club Racing Rules specify transponder must be mounted inside left front wheel well. No higher than 2 feet from road surface.

Anyone else done this?
