Vic's car is perfect to do a stripper : ). Mechanically pretty done just full cage and ancillaries. But I agree that a car that has already been done is easy to start racing now vs the expense and time to get it race prepped. I think Vic would be happy to see his former baby go to the next step and me too : ). Mike

a well done welded in custom cage is about 4000 to start.
dont forget fire system.
window and center nets
may cage guys dont do knee bars. you need it.
to get it right, you REALLY need to roof skin taken off.
there are a lot of custom work you can't see and that's what cost money

He should give it to you for free, you keep the 6 flag up while he is cheating and using downforce to turn.
Real drivers don't need downforce. Take off the ugly plastic bodywork from the Rdl and try passing a GT3.

Why does a cup car get bumped automatically to GTS5? Isn't it based on power to weight? Sory for the OT post. Sounds like a great car. Would be the perfect track day car.

Cory - it is an awesome track car. Been enjoying it for the past 2 days at VIR. Absolute blast! Cup cars take a penalty with NASA in ST class. Otherwise in GTS it is all power to weight. Still debating on moving to a full race car. I know you have some pretty cool stuff there in Charleston!
