Default Audio Questions

Guys,

I posted this in the "Audio" section but haven't received a response. Kind of need some advice, as i have to call the guy tomorrow with my intentions.

I'm about to drop about $2300.00 on a simple system for the car.

This will include a Hertz amplifier and I believe 2 x 8" Hertz sub woofers. This box is a "special box" apparently which will make the bass sound more like 10" speakers.

The amp will be installed in the trunk, with a false bottom over top to make use of the trunk still, with a factory look, carpet etc.

The woofers will go in the back on the second ledge with a factory look and carpet.

The car has no bass, so I need some.

This brand Hertz, and the price for all the work, is this a good brand and price?
I haven't shopped around, as I don't know much really about audio.

Thank you for your support.

There's a radio in there? Looks like a prop to me. I turn it on and nothing. Seriously are using stock head unit? All u need is an extra amp to drive Oem speakers. Gt3's don't have the extra amp normally located on the regular 996 in front trunk to get decent drive to the speakers. The stock unit amp is not enuf. Mike

The stock radio is doable mids and highs, but bass is non-existent.

I'll keep everything the way it is, except add a sub woofer/s for the lacking bass.

Then an input for MP3 player.

Forget the stereo stuff; loose weight and sound better with a lighter exhaust!
