Parked my car yesterday after a traffic jammed, hot day, drive home. Used the AC very mild and had no signs of an overheating engine or any other signals. Parked the car and turned it off. To my surprise i heard a boiling noise coming from the rear near the engine compartment. No sign of leaks and it also kept on going. I had to run so could not wait or check it out more thorough. I am not sure if it is the sound is from liquids or air. Never had such thing before. Want to drive the car today and wonder what this has been. (will go check the car later today if it's still there)
I don't know bout boiling noose but when I turn off car sounds like oil or something draining into somewhere. Had it since day one. Never had an issue. Mike
Sounds just like my car as well. That sound just makes me crave a cup of coffee. I have heard this noise after driving in cool temperatures, seems to be fairly temperature independent.
