OK, let's say that the beloved 3 has all the safety equipment, Cup front splitter, and a light weight battery. That's it. Everything else is bone stock. Of course it is lowered and aligned for track duty. Car is fantastic, handles great and does nor really need anything. Oh, and it does have 24K miles on the odo.
However...I am feeling frisky and want to at least take a peek at the slippery slope that I have (mostly) resisted for a long time.
Wouldn't it be nice to lose 150 Lb, gain 40 HP, handle like a Cup, and while at it be 30 yrs old again? It would!
Well, let's just say that I want it all but will not spend more than $5,000.
How should I spend my money? Help!

send your money to me and in return I'll tell you how fast you are and post threads about how nobody can keep up with you anymore. I would even consider throwing in a few "that My911rs sure does get a lot of ladies these days" just for good measure. Clearly the ladies appreciate how fast you've become.
PM me for address to send the cheque.

I forgot to mentioned I do have track wheels and have been using mostly slicks - Pirellis were the best - nowadays Hoosiers due to availability. I have been tracking for more than 10 years.
Now a coach is always a good idea, but this comes out of my "education" budget. Tires are charged to "operations"; so the "capital improvement" budget still open! That budget was re-named; previously it was for "counselling"...

LSD will fry at some point and at 24k miles it's sooner then later. Wholely recommend Guard LSD. Used set of Motons or revalve. I take it your rear toelinks has been done? Exhaust is another thing to do but that's last for me in priority. Cup shifter cables is nice. Shorter r/p or gear sets but that will get over 5k for parts and labor. Mike
