About not overfilling. I like to give the full up technical answers but in this case... place too much oil in and it gets into places it shouldn't be. For example, I have seen smoke out the GT3 exhaust from overfilling the oil.

Anyway, follow the manual and remember its a $40,000 engine so why guess.

Thanks all. I opened the engine case plug, let it drain for 3 "globs" and closed it. I'm now seeing 2 bars from max level. Perfect. But since my initial drain was with a filter and I put 9qts, perhaps my level was exactly at the top and not overfilled.
