John get the cup car fender liners. They're taller/wider allowing more clearance. I use them with 265's on my 9.5 rims....

Well if Mooty and I are almost touching the spring collars, you must be within centimeters. Really there's lots of room for a 9" front rim under a 996 front fender. They appear to be right at the fenders in your pics....

But mooty is running 9.5" inch wheels, mine are only 9" to be on the safe side. I had plenty of space, at least one and a half centimeters, maybe not two.

I went back and pulled my numbers from CCW. Basically I put 10.5mm towards the inside and 1.5mm towards the fender --instead of splitting the difference of 6 either way. I guess I could have explained that better. And yes there is tons of room toward the inside, that's why you guys scavenged another 12mm more in there.

Stock 996 GT3
18 x 8.5" ET 40
18 x 11" ET 63

My 996 GT3 CCW wheels:
18 x 9 ET 44.45
18 x 11.5 ET 63.5

I bought the first set of these from Jerry and they came today. The wheels look fantastic, were very well packaged and Jerry kept me posted throughout the entire process with updates and pictures. Buy with confidence, this is a heck of a deal for basically new wheels.

sent a PM. Want to buy the wheels if they are still available and also talk about the trailer in your other post.

Thanks

Looking for a show of hands ... how many GT3s around the 'ville?
Moved away before the genesis of the car. Never see any when I visit. Made up for by the plethora in the SF Bay. How're the track(s) around Louisville?
