I'm using Pole Positions and want to be able to clip the lap belts in and out. The BK long tunnel side mount is essentially unreachable so that if I get the belt clipped in, I'll never get it out. Is the best option to mount an I-bolt on the tunnel behind the seat?

If you are using the long inboard clips there is a problem. Have used them LOTS of times with no issues. They essentially should be at the same height as the stock seat belt receptacle. Think maybe you have the shorts.
