Let's see if a GT3 can go 145,000 miles without a rebuild.
I used to do about a dozen events/year in an e36 M3/Sedan, sold w/220k+ miles, engine had never been opened. Lovely cars, I've owned several of them and they all have the same issues...

Anyway, I'm forever in the market for a 996 GT3 as well -looking for a good enough deal-, from what I've seen, watch the coolant hoses/fittings, if you care about people going off track behind you. They seem to be very reliable overall.

Thought I had a good lead on one through the PCA classifieds, unfortunately it had been sold.

Jason, where are you located?

It's probably not the wisest thing to share a car I'm considering, but here's one with some great upgrades at a reasonable price:

Let me know if you're near Raleigh, I would be happy to look over a car for you if you'd like. I'm familiar w/them and work on them as well.
Cheers.

That's pretty good deal. I'm currently working a deal for a black on black on that's closer. I'll post the details if/when I get them.

Thanks

I'll be ready to buy in early February.

Any leads are appreciated!

Thanks,

BTW 6'4" is no problem in the gt3, I am 6'5" and fit great, serge is 6'4" and he fits even though he weighs like 300 lbs...
