GT2rainge

Hi guys hoping someone can help me,these pads are the green motorsport p40 rear pads part number 996 352 930 90,but my question is about the line down the middle of the pad material that splits it into two halfs,is this right as i'm sure mine never had this or are they for another caliper other than the gt3/2 rears,cheers for any help

Think these maybe for mark 1 gt3 but can't work out why same part number as mark 2 rears for ceramic
