For me...clubsport seats, mk2 front brakes and MPSC if they wear out this year.

hire coach to set up suspension ( jrz pros) (whole day with me no driving )
front Demans rotors (just ordered their last set)
bought truck 2010, now need to buy trailer...
if get trailer, try hoosiers...
maybe get re gear or differential changed...

Shouldn't have a pro in the car all day without you driving to setup a suspension. A good pro will be able to get a feel for your car in a couple laps. Then, YOU driving both with and without the coach sitting right seat you tell them what the car is doing and what you want it to do. My engineer (not a driver's coach, strictly engineering) would send me out for 4-5 hot laps, I'd come into the hot pits, he'd make sure tire pressure was on (adjust if necessary) and then go back out for the rest of the session. Then, at the end of each session, we'd have a pretty thorough debrief about what the car was doing and more importantly what I want it to do. Between small changes to the ARB's and the dampers and can pressure by the end of 1 day and 4 sessions the car was dialed perfectly.


How did you order them? I'd really like to see if they carry rotors for a 997 Turbo before I order OEM again. I checked their website and that is not done and I have PM'd RickDeman and never heard back.

i called and talked to Donna...i got their last set of 996 3 rotors..she wasnt sure what others they make and i asked her for a list...youcan call or e mail her or wait til i get the list..

The pro driver set up a friends boxster s spec class car and he brings a couple of mechanics and spends the day making rake, height, cambe,r toe, stab bar, etc adjustments to make it as fast and forgiving to drive. Ive seen some of the other pro shops out here but they do very few adjustments and since i am no pro driver i may not be able to communicate what i am feeling to the mechanic....then he writes down in several pages all the set up specs for future reference...

but i do plan to talk him into letting me do a few hot laps and temps after each adjustment

Nope, a 6Turbo but with upgraded brakes running the 350mm F&R 997 Turbo rotors.
