Any pics or links? I've had it in 3 cars with no problems. The BMWs have had issues though.

That seems to be VERY used and probably by somebody that doesn't wear gloves. If you are street driving and don't sweat like a pig or have greasy hands there is no reason a wheel should look like that. If you are on track and not wearing gloves then you should expect that as well.

Dell is right, and if I am not mistaken the wheel is oem so no question about the quality of alcantara used. Porsche uses the original formula not some cheap imitation.
Maybe with a proper cleaning it will look better. Instructions are here:

I was think of having my steering wheel done there too. Loooks like nice work. Did you get the airbag cover done too or will the steering wheel be "two-tone". If you have a completed or installed picture that would be great.

Its kinda two tone, but not really in a negative way. I'll post a picture or two if Joey doesn't.
