That seems to be VERY used and probably by somebody that doesn't wear gloves. If you are street driving and don't sweat like a pig or have greasy hands there is no reason a wheel should look like that. If you are on track and not wearing gloves then you should expect that as well.

Dell is right, and if I am not mistaken the wheel is oem so no question about the quality of alcantara used. Porsche uses the original formula not some cheap imitation. Maybe with a proper cleaning it will look better. Instructions are here: http://www.alcantara.com/en/experien...anuale_eng.pdf |
I was think of having my steering wheel done there too. Loooks like nice work. Did you get the airbag cover done too or will the steering wheel be "two-tone". If you have a completed or installed picture that would be great.

Its kinda two tone, but not really in a negative way. I'll post a picture or two if Joey doesn't.
