Now if it only had the steering wheel in the right place..
Yeah, I'm planning to use that too when the new RS wing shows up. You know, "yeah, but honey, if there's more down force, the car will be more stable".

you're right, it's definitely coming of age now. we only got about 14 delivered to australia, and they usually go for around $180k, which is about a $40k premium over the std model. most are white/red. this is the model i would like one day, it will do me.
are they still hovering around the 60k pounds in blighty? cheap considering the 993 and 964 are over 100k now. i think it has hit the bottom of the curve and can only go up from here.
Bit lower at the moment. I paid 69k for it in 2005 though, so depreciation has been gentle. Shame about the tyre/brake/4 way dampers/mods bills!

lol well my wife used to do trackdays and actually came off at the ring in my BMW race car. She's given up since then...

As to selling, I'm not the one who keeps wavering!

Cheers.
I have a 2001 Ruf RGT, and it is based on the 996.1 GT3. I believe there are 17 U. S. VIN # cars. Here is what I wrote about it.

There is something solid, pure and elemental about the car. It cannot be described. You have to drive it to really appreciate the car. The integrated roll cage, the suspension, the brakes, the perfectly balanced engine all contribute to the feeling, and it feels incredibly special when you drive it.

On the street, the RGT feels much more solid and better planted than my 2007 GT3. Straight-line speed is not a fair contest, given that my GT3 has a "ringer" engine.

"Collections" are all fine and good as long as they are driven and the owner isn't a braggart.

Solberg certainly drives or has driven the **** out of most of his cars too, not to mention his wife who as he put it "beat all the boys" in the Norwegian Rally Cx driving a Mitsubishi Evo residing in the garage. : )
