There are a lot of drivers using GT3s since this started as a semi-official involvement from the factory with 996 MKII ("GT3 Road Challenge"). Now 997 cups are even allowed in the French championship (they can drive them on open roads without proper licence plate during the time of the event)

What is really cool to see is that the car is actually running under licence plate S-GT-408, which mean it's probably one of the original GT3s used for press pictures when first released :
The 2004 GT3 Road Challenge was originally shown with a plate staring with BB-GT, meaning is was a work done by Motorsport/Weissach .
