Default LWFW clutch kit

I read an old post on selecting the right LWFW and took the advice of going to Suncoast for the kit. I was suprised to see that everything you need for the upgrade was included except for the pressure plate. Seems odd to me that it would not be included in what is called a clutch kit. Is there a reason for not including the pressure plate?

You can re-use the current pressure plate. It is same between GT3RS and GT3.

It just seems odd not to replace the pressure plate when doing this much. With having no clutch problems so far is it normal not to replace it. My backround has been in othere forms of racing and we would not given any thought to not replacing a pressure plate when doing a clutch FW upgrade.

This car is shared with the wife for track use so do not want a heavier pedal.

Thanks for the info, the engine and trans came out last night and all parts are here for the clutch kit, 997.2 shifter with cup cables. We will also fix the coolant issues as well.
