I'll take the coupon.
Don't know about the other stuff, but Russ is my boss

What I meant was that the coupon inspired you!
Looks great . Although , now you are going to get the , "sorry, I didn't give you a pass but I just didn't see you".
Are you going to have to cover high wear areas with a thick clear plastic or is the black thick enough?

FFaust, you work for Russ? I like Russ...great guy.

I took the wing off to wrap it. It was actually pretty easy. The hard parts are the fenders and the bumpers.
I would not have been able to do this alone, they guys from Sticky Media were the ones who sold me the vinyl and did the install. I only helped out. It would not have came out as good if I did it myself!!

Very cool!!

I've been thinking about something like this, how is it to keep clean, easier or more difficult than gloss clear-coat?

Cheers.

Sid.

So far it has not really gotten very dirty so I've just used a wet rag (micro fiber) and just wiped off the dust. It's supposed to be perfectly washable, thus the higher price for the roll. It's supposed to be made just for this type of purpose...time will tell I guess.
The car is now under it's cover in the garage ready for winter.
I wanted to get it out and take some pics of it this past weekend so at least i have something to look at for the next several long, snowy and cold months.

I guess the only problem with the 3M skins...especially in matt blk is when there are any minor scratches or scuff marks you can't buff it off. Seem an M5 done the same way in close up...looks better a far.

You are totally right. I'm sure i will end up with a few scratches but it's really just a track car and if it gets too bad, I can remove and re-install a section of vinyl.
I'm a bit nervous about hos stone chips and such will end up looking...little spots of red on the hood and bumper! Bring on the Sharpie!!

Re; winter, I hear ya got home last night (ok morning) and it was pure ice on the roads...was happy I wasn't driving the P.! Still hoping to get a few more good days before putting it away for winter though.

Sid, Once the old timers pass you on track, you'll have a new appreciation on how fast they can drive. I got passed by an instructor at Tremblant at turn 6 and by the time I got out of turn 8 he was no where in sight. It really is a blast!
