Default Revosport GT3 RS rear wing

Does anyone have one of these? How is the quality and ease of install?
Seems decent for $900 in CF or $600 in fiber glass...

I'd hate to have a knockoff snap on me in the middle of a high speed sweeper.

Something to consider.

Hard to see from the pics on the site, but it sure looks like the cheap, crappy wing to avoid. I didn't see properly attached mounting brackets.

Stick to a used oem or Manthey wing. You can trust those.

POS wing...dangerous!!!! It doesn't even have the struts built into the wing. I'm guessing they want you to "attach" your own? WTF!?!?!?!?!

Maybe they are selling to the guy that only stores his car in the garage and doesn't drive it. If you do that sucker will become a projectile on track. And that's if you even find a way to get it glued onto your car.

Chris, find an OEM or Manthey wing.

Used appear periodically. I have Dell's which was someone else's before it got to him.

Chis, it's time to pass it on to another deserving rennsport member. I'll even come and pick it up. Man, I'm not sure you deserve me.

Just visit Ron Green's with a screwdriver and someone to distract him.

I'll be keeping my car awhile so you'll be waiting a long time.

They tend to appear in bunches on here but they do appear periodically.

Gert @ Carnewal also sells a replica wing, whcih as best I can tell is identical to factory, except for the price.

Talk to Ilker at Sports Car Boutique in TO. He has/had one coming for a 6 GT3 that he's prepping. Not sure which brand though.

no offence to gert, but if you have ever seen a genuine porsche one you will know that the carnewal isnt within a million miles of being close.
imho the genuine wing is light years ahead of everyone elses wing in terms of look and quality. if i had to be pushed into a non porsche one i would say the manthey one would be where my money went. after that you are better keeping the stock wing over putting on anyone elses.

No offense; I'm very happy with my wing and what I paid; if you are happy with yours and what you paid, cool.

To the point, the OP was asking about the Revosport wing; I simply posted another option that I feel is worthy of consideration.

If you want to start another thread where we can post pictures and compare construction, quality, and hardware, I'm game.

I heard Ron is very distracted these days...So if you need a hand I'll be glad to help.
