Daaamn. Those rotors are blingin! Can you post some overall pics with those wheels? I assumed that they would be closer to stock, but they have a nice lip on them!

Just got back from Scott's house and all I can add is that the car looks like a museum piece sitting in the garage

Thanks! The rotors or wheels are blingy? I'll agree just a smidge on the wheels; 'polished' would not be my first choice, but it wasn't a deal breaker for track wheels. Maybe when I get ready for the next set of tires, I'll have them refinished. The rotors will be scuffed up soon enough. No real good whole car shots yet; I just brought it down off the jackstands this afternoon.

You are welcome. The stud and nut info I found while researching here, so just hoping I could pass along the info. I know most of this might seem remedial to most of the veteran track guys, but I enjoy the build.

I used red high strength high temp thread lock, and still have to re-apply to some of the studs every once in a while because they loosen when changing wheels. They have never loosened when torqued to 96 lbs. between changes, though. I think it may be a good idea to check these quite often...

Good to know; will do Chuck. I have some Red high strength, but followed the directions per the stud manufacturer; install with ~16 ft/lbs and Medium locker. I will bring some Red High Strength + High Temp to the track.

No, really, those rotors look really nice. Nothing wrong with polished - track shmeg will come off easier!

Those Rotors look Awesome!!!!

I will say, loose the NT-01's.
While the price is right (lower cost) "the traction" is nothing compared to a V-710 or R6.

I am on my first set (trying to save $$) and learned the hard way.
You have spent the money where needed (brakes) don't skimp on tires, like I did and kick myself for it.

The rotors and wheels look awesome!

The R6 is not a proper tire for the stock suspension (which Scott is running). The Nitto is absolutely the perfect choice. Also remember, he has been on PS2's since he got the car. The last thing you want to do is go from street tire to the Hoosier crack pipe!

Thanks. Although, I think the NT01s are right for me at this point. Remember the movie, What About Bob? with Bill Murray? Baby steps......baby steps......

Quick question... any advantage to going with such a long stud in the rear? Would 65mm have been sufficient? Thanks!
