Considering the cost of steel, inherent rejected bends, having to notch the tubes, etc, I think the price is well worth it.
I will destroy my cage soon trying to weld the side bars so stay tuned for DIY welding.
OT Serge may i suggest you start building a cage to cover your houses front door now that the neighbors will start visiting you with bats etc might be useful. You have until Monday
The club sport roll bar pictured above is no longer made. Porsche changed the design on the 997 Clubsport bars to have the shoulder attachment point further back thus allowing more "stretch" of the shoulder belts in an accident resulting in a reduction of load on the upper torso / neck area. The later gen 997.1 and 2 Clubsport bars are also NLA.

I just want to know that is is OEM.
Thanks again everyone.
FVD is selling a reproduction of the original OEM 996/997 cage made by Heico in Germany. There are a couple differences in their repro but similar attachment points and fits without cutting the dash or rockers.
Safety Devices makes a bolt in cage but it requires that you cut the rocker panels to install.

Nick,
Thanks for the info!
One quick question, is THIS cage an original?
What are the subtle differences...or do you have to kill me if you tell me LOL!
