Isn't there an OEM option to match the RS rear wing as well?

I agree there aren't many options and most of the ones that are can be destroyed easily or are all CF. The GMG front splitter looks like a good product and is truly a serious splitter/lip combination that controls airflow and reduces lift. It still is an expensive fix, if you get a little to aggressive on a corner or go for a spin in the grass. I tend to side with those who use the Cup Lip for that reason. It's easily replaced (trackside) and doesn't become a budget issue. Not only that it is effective in increasing down force over the Stock lip (not in the same class as GMG).

The reason i showed the 997 splitter is that i wanted to share some of the advancements that i have seen made in splitters developed in the past 5 years. Adjustable for short course or long high speed courses, removable for easy repair of major wear points (the lip). The designer was using his/her head when developing this product and i like to see that type of thought put into good functional designs for performance enhancements.

Absolutely agree with you, definitely wasnt having a go at you for posting a 997 lip in the 996 thread.

If you look at a GT3 Cup S' front under tray & splitter, it also has the adjustability as seen in those photo's on a factory lip/splitter.

I think I will contact GMG & see if they can make some changes for me. As I have no rules to comply with, I'd like the front splitter to extend a little further forward.

Pretty sure the J3 splitter is the same as this one on Wolf Hensler's WSC cup....

no lie!! I had 2 run over by the guy behind me at the track, another can off while exiting a ferry, and a couple more here and there. The 996GT3 splitter IS a disposable item.

Unfortunately I havent had a chance to speak to them, after spending 5 months in hospital just after i posted that last comment, my car hasnt really been a high priority.

Hopefully I will be able to look at again after xmas.
