Mooty,

I think your word would be good enough for me. Never seen anybody unhappy with your selling, mostly ecstatic with the good prices you sell for.

Post up a pic of the bottom side. That is one of the better giveaways. Replicas don't have the PROPER AND SAFE mouting tabs.

I think the Manthey one though is bigger.

For me though, if John tells me it's OEM then I believe him.

Dimensionally, the Manthey is almost identical to OEM. The side plates are a bit more aggressive and the Manthey air foil has a slightly different shape, in addition to a little lip at the trailing edge. The mounting brackets are done correctly on the Manthey as well.

$2K is a real deal for oem and more than fair for a Manthey wing.

Mooty's word is good enough for me too.

Cheers,

I believe this wing was originally mine (on my '04 3) while I dont have the receipt I can vouch that it is an OEM Porsche RS .1 wing. I think I got it from Viper Bob.

Assuming it's OEM I will buy it

When you get back in town and have a chance please post a few pics to confirm everything and we can work out where to meet

I wonder if my GT3 used to be yours, did you do a bunch of work on your 996 gt3 at rothsport? Motons, monoballs, RS cage, etc?

Or maybe you just had one of the very few in midnight blue

Yeah, I didn't mean to question Mooty's item.. was simply responding to Dell's comment.. I thought he meant to say that anything other than OEM RS wing would not have the mounting brackets, so I said that I believe Manthey unit comes w/ them.. that's all..

Obviously there is no questions regarding Mooty's reputation.. !!
