I've been soooooo busy lately... Any chance this event is still open? I need to be schooled by Mike or someone crazy enough to sit passenger as I drive

Crap, open is full. Only novice/intermediate is available. Is there any point? What kind of lap times does that group put in?

If you don't have much experience, that's probably the group to be in. Especially if you've never had your GT3 on the track before. Sign up!

^^^ Well, been tracking since 2006, maybe 20 days at t-hill, but only once in the GT3. I'm not fast, hoping to put in some 2:15s (which is slower than when I drive my front-heavy 3800lbs AWD Audi).

Someone please tell me I'll still have fun and it'll be worth it... I definitely would not sign up for novice in some schools, but GGLC has a "Novice/Intermediate" group which I've never seen.

cyrus, you will be fine in nov/int group... guys are still pretty quick. especially since they are allowing the advanced to run down in the intermed. group, you will be running with some quick cars there.

if you progress further and out-run the novice group, i'm pretty sure gglc guys will allow you to move up, of course, space permitting.

most of their novice/intermediate are faster than bmwcca newbies and definitely faster then audi school newbies.

big chance you can get into adv group.

hard to imagine TH filling up.

sorely tempted by this ... but will just be back from europe so the jet lag and the drive do not appeal!

I am just traumatised after all those 2.5 hour treks to and from TH in my RSA ... those Sparco's, sport springs and monoballs not too mention the "amazing" A/C on that car turned that trip into a living hell in a black, rear engined toaster oven on roller skates ...

I do like the idea of the mexican blue hitting the track though

dont be a wimp.
2010 GT3 has great AC. hook up mp3 or CD, turn it up, open up the cup holder get some coffee in there....

from SF, you are 150 miles or so to TH. it shoud take u no more than 2 hours. we will have a huge contingent of GT3's.

where is adam (carerraGT)? we need a 7.2RS to finish up the line-up. (I'm also working on trying to get a pal with a 7gt2 to come out too!)
