Seat bolt socket type?
Two quick questions.
What is the socket size/type for the seat bolts?
I'm assuming it is the same bolt for all the 996/986 cars correct?
Thanks!
ps. yes, there is something I don't know about these cars I've been using just a standard socket all these years but it "slips" a tiny bit and would prefer to finally have the proper socket.

Thanks John. Stupid follow-up question........ How are the sockets labeled? When I run to the auto parts store what size would I be looking for? Torx 10?

Just got back from the auto parts store and it was called a "star" socket E12. Thanks again for the help! I finally have the right socket for the seats after all these years

Yes, we are very backassward here
And who the hell came up with "standard" measurement system. Cuz it's oh so more easy to understand (detect sarcasm ) that the metric system and everything being in multiples of 10.

Very true, but no worries, you are ok! we all measure road tyres in inches and for god's shake you could be driving on the left side of the road.

A round of beer originates from people sitting in a round table and one of them orders beer for all. And says to the waiter bring us a round of beers! with his finger pointing to his friends and showing the circle around.
Really! :-)
