The AIM SmartyCam comes with an additional external GPS antenna. The cable is much longer than the one pictured here.

I am trying to think of a way to temporarily mount it, like on the back carpeted shelf, but it mounts by adhesive and that won’t work. I’ve been told I can mount it at the front windshield near the ventilation duct, and I’ve seen it mounted on the back shelf under the rear glass.
This isn’t a fully dedicated track car, and I don’t want to take apart the interior just to run the cable for my weekend GPS signal needs, at least, not for this weekend’s event.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
All feedback welcomed.

I’ll check it tonight. It very well could be magnetic, which makes sense when you think about its intended purpose. I assumed it was adhesive since it looks like it has a peel-off backing on it. Thanks
