So here is a question:

If I bed my P50s in on the street, as described in the article scan below, won’t I scrape off the pad material transferred to the rotor anytime I drive the car between the bed-in process and when I get to the track?

Its been suggested to bed-in at the track, but I am not sure how I can do so safely on my first couple laps, can I?

Any additional tips?

I drove the Car on the street after my bed-in procedure and I don't think it mattered.. The only thing I noticed was that after the first session at the track, there was a fair amount of smoke coming from the wheels/calipers/pads... I was a bit concerned, but from that point forward, there was no problem and the pads are still going strong (after 40+ sessions at Laguna).

Quite obviously, take it easy'ish on the first few laps and get a feel for how the pads are working and so forth.
