Very late to the game on this one as I wasn't sure I could even go due to my wife's pregnancy and work.
Are there any decent seats left for a decent price? I know all the hotels are probably booked but someone was suggesting staying a bit further out and taking the train in. This might be possible as my wife won't be able to fly and we will most likely be driving in.
Any advice from locals or previous visitors to the Canadian F1 is appreciated.

Time to bring this to the top and see if we can figure out a good date and time to put a face with a screen name and have a beer. 
Scott (SH||NC) and I plan to be at the track every day so Friday practice would work if we want to meet at the track. If we want to meet on Thursday or Friday night, then we'll have to rely on the locals (or somebody that knows the area) to to suggest a place. We are staying at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain which I assume is "downtown" and where most hotels everybody is staying.

I'll be there in Section 11.
I only arrive Friday night and am busy both Fri/Sat nights but would LOVE to meet at the track during a lull.

So, did you guys decide on a rendezvous point (that's the extent of my French...hehe)? I'd love to meet up, so lemme know when you decide. My email is sapan_fire@yahoo.com. Also, I'll be in GS 21 if anyone else is in that area...

Here's the view from my hotel. OH YEAH BABY!!! By the way, the bar here at the hotel is pretty damn nice. Had a burger and a beer served to us by the lovely Andrea last night.

Just got back from the track. We are heading down to the lounge in our hotel for a bite to eat and a drink.....or two.....or three......
