no one told me that daughters are $$$$$$$$$$
you are seeing only 1/2 of the collection.
she's 5 now and has been transported to school with GT3, RS, cayman s, lotus elise, exige, pepper gts, giant GMC 2500, s2000, E36M3, E90 and a few other things... she's spoiled all right. if her boyfriend doesn't drive F40, bugatti, cgt or some such... well, forget it. i got to get my INVESTMENT back soon.

do remember to buzz us when you are at TH.
we'll find the best food to treat you at TH. haha, that's not saying much. but it will be a LITTLE better than pizza hut.

NCRC is running at TH anymore? WTF?

HOD is crap. Super expensive, 4 sessions no cool down lap, poor pre grid set up and they are super **** about pushing your car. I got yelled at twice for wanting to set up my Hotlap transmitter???!?!?! Never running with them again.

Man, I miss running with you guys!

Finally race group with hod is open passing newhere with courtesy pointby- no mandatory bs. But fk expensive and few sessions. I rather do NASA at half cost and go with the bs Nasa has and besides they have good races going on like PRC and Honda challenge. Mike ps- go bsr colby : ).

Bout time HOD ran an open passing group.

Give me about 2-3 years and I'll be in something race spec. Until then I gotta put around in my "lazy" e46. lol

Good to hear from ya Mike!

Ya right Allen! I ran a 2:10.1 with 7 days total experience with a stock car on PS2's. Super fun track and easy to learn. Just follow John (mooty) or Mike (996flt6) one or two go arounds, have them ride shotgun once with you and you'll be set. Don't follow Dave (171mph) unless you want to set the grass on fire. lol

O and I'm pretty sure 171mph ran a sub two with PCA TT.

Looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Mooty has owned multiple GT3s and related parts, including numerous backups and duplicate spares... she is just applying it to stuffed bears!

Follow Dave(171 mph)? I give up after 3-4 laps. I be happy at the end of session just to see him at t1 as I exit out of t15 : ( = consistent laps. If don't see him-I've been experimenting with different slow lines- bawahhhh!!!. Colby do some trackdays in your e46- ne trackday is a good day : ). Hope everything is well with u and your family. just follow dave for 8 laps, then he gets tired and start driving some very UNIQUE lines.

PCA Golden Gate Region has 3 Thunderhill track weekends this year:

First timers are no longer required to attend ground school the weekend before... instead just an orientation meeting at the track the night before the event. The quality of the instruction and driving with PCA-GGR is better than any of the other clubs mentioned in this thread. Sorry but that's just the plain truth. For more details and to sign up online, go here: http://www.pca-ggr.org/

PCA GGR’s 2010 Track Event Schedule is as follows:
March 26-28: Thunderhill Raceway (DE, TR & Club Race)
May 22-23: Buttonwillow Raceway (DE, TR & Club Race)
July 31 – Aug 1: Thunderhill Raceway (DE & TR)
September 18-19: Thunderhill Raceway (DE, TR & Club Race)
October 8: Infineon Raceway (DE only)

And if you want a good high-def Thunderhill video w/ data shot from inside a 996, look here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bcz5x4HYsI

This is a daily-driver 996 C2 doing a 2:02.6 over the top on MPSC tires and non-adjustable factory X74 suspension.... at a PCA GGR time trial last year. Not quite GT3 fast, but close considering the 60hp deficit, etc.

I hope some of these 2010 dates work for you guys.

mike, see above post.
it's calling you.
no ground school....

i have been to every GGR event for last 3 years. instruction is very very good and lots of track time. and added bonus for the march event is that you can watch PCA club races in person!!! dont miss the fun... too bad i have to work overseas that weekend. else i will be racing BSR as well.
