Default Need help: aftermarket steering wheel

Hi everyone,

I have a OMP Corsa wheel that I would like to install on my GT3 with a momo hub. However I've been told by my supplier that the horn will NOT work with this hub. For those of you that have done this and have had the horn working, can you help and explain to me how this is done?

TIA

I have a Momo wheel on my street GT3, the horn works and the airbag is deactivated. There are a couple of parts you need to get it to work. Do a search, there has been a thread on this before.

Bill
I tried searching for it but just can't seem to find the info that i am looking for. I see many people jsut leave the horn out which is what i don't want to do. Do you know exactly what parts I need to make it work and where i can get them from?

Thanks a lot

I had my horn rewired to a blank switch on the console

see right above the wiper stalk on the right side of the steering column there is a factory "wing up/down" rocker switch... that is my horn button...

turned out to be a great solution as it makes a qd/qr steering wheel easier to monkey with and no cords etc.. and I only really require a horn when I think I am going to get flattened by a semi changing lanes... otherwise I just stick to the loud pipes save lives philosophy
